Plot Inspections

End of season plot inspections are now underway.

Ensuring your plot is largely cultivated is a requirement of your tenancy agreement. Letting your plot get overgrown with weeds makes it harder to cultivate and can create problems and more work for your neighbours.

Autumn is the perfect time to get your plot in order.  By removing weeds now and preparing beds you will be ready for the growing season next spring. Leaving overgrown plots over the winter only allows the weeds to get a headstart and makes your job harder in spring.

We recognise that sometimes life events prevent us from getting down to our plots, but if you are unable to carry out any cultivation you could consider reducing the size of your plot or handing it back so someone else can work it. If you’d like to discuss you options, email: haa-chair@outlook.com
